Travelling to Thailand without seeing at least one of the famous beaches? Impossible! So I had to squeeze in two days on an island... I chose Koh Samed, mainly because you can reach the island in about half a day from Bangkok. Beautiful white sand, nice bungalows just on the beach, relaxed bars for the odd drink and chilled restaurants to serve delicious food, fresh coconuts and fruit. All that while you let the gentle surf play with your toes...
A shame I had only two days to hang out! Next time. Also a good holiday destination for a few relaxing weeks - for when real life strikes again.
