I must say, it is hard to leave Dresden. I keep going on on about how
great the quality of living is in Dresden - but it is just true! No
long distances to cover, people are relaxed and friendly, the
environment is great. Especially in the summer (and in such a great
autumn as this year!) it is all so pleasant spending time in the
numerous beer gardens or at the festivals that take place almost every
weekend.
And have a look at the great baroque panorama as seen from the
river Elbe! I took the picture last Tuesday after sunset, among the other buildings along the Brühlsche Terasse you can see
the Semper Opera on the right hand side.
